AMPLIFY YOUR KIDS SUMMER 2013
2013 BGCA Summer Enrichment Camp
Ready, Set, Camp! The Boys and Girls Club of the CSRA invites you to sign your child up for our eight week summer enrichment camp which features exciting programs to include an educational computer lab, games room, gym activities, arts and crafts and outdoor recreation. Each child will be placed into appropriate age groups (ages 6-14) and rotated throughout program areas.
As a special treat, we also have weekly field trips! Costs for these trips are included in the registration fee and lunch and a snack will be provided. The Boys and Girls Clubs of the CSRA summer camp is a race for fun where everybody wins! For more information, please contact

To my listeners .... Yes College can be a scary thing however , with faith and determination you can do .... Here are a few step when returning to school in your upper age
1. Determine a major or Career Path.
2. Find a school that tailors to the working adult .
( Many of them are 1 night a week classes)
3. Call the schools admission office.
4. Set your goals and sights on several schools to research your career and salary potential.
5. Check out the school accredition.
6. Check with the school for funding scholarships,grants or financial aid.
7. Start and keep going ..a good friend of mind (Kim Matthews)said to me "Soul" whatever you do ...don't stop !!
8. Postive people in your life as you transition through are vital to the process .
9. Get started ..and send me your graduation pictures .
10. Again if "Soul can do it at 47 ......You can too !

That's right folks the Candlelight Jazz Concert Series begins this Sunday May 5th at the 8th street Bulkhead at the RIverwalk .

Free for children under age 13
The Candlelight Jazz Concert Series, sponsored by City of Augusta Special Events, Metro Spirit, Dapper & Company, and 96.3 KISS FM, begins in May and continues through Labor Day Weekend. Bring your own seating and picnic for an evening of great music under the stars at the Riverwalk in downtown Augusta.
